All Shepherd Rescue is a group of dedicated dogs lovers who rescue, rehabilitate and rehome German Shepherd dogs and German Shepherd mixes. We rescue dogs from shelters as well as owner surrenders. Our dogs are either in foster homes or in temporary boarding with German Shepherd trainers.
We take care of any vetting needs as well as spay/neuter. Many dogs are heartworm positive, which is not only an expensive disease to treat but requires 90 day of specialized care.
Once the foster dog has started to relax and feel safe we can better assess his/her true personality and begin the search for the right adopter.
Our goal is to match the dog with the adopter so this is the last home for each dog.
We make a lifetime commitment to each dog and if for any reason the adopter cannot keep the dog, our contract requires the dog to come back to ASR.
Community outreach and education of the public to help keep the dog in the home, if possible, is another part of our mission.
We require an application, personal and vet references and a home visit done by an All Shepherd Rescue volunteer.
Our adoption fee is $350.
Fencing is not always required subject to a satisfactory Home Visit.
