Almost Home Pet Rescue is an all foster based, 501c3 non-profit charity. This means there is no facility where the animals in the rescue are kept - they are with fosters. Our mission is to save as many dogs as possible by rescuing from high kill shelters and the streets of Houston. Our rescues are placed into foster homes until they are adopted. We rescue from most of animal controls in the Greater Houston and Southeast Texas areas. Our adoption events are in Katy, TX every weekend. All our animals are vaccinated, spayed/neutered and micro chipped.Find Us

Our Adoption Process
$200 adoption fee for dogs includes spay/neuter surgery, rabies and other vaccinations, heart worm test, microchip, deworming, sales tax, and heartworm and flea preventatives while the dog is in our care.
