About Us
Animal Friends - VA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill foster-based rescue located in Bealeton VA dedicated to saving and finding homes for the dogs in our rescue. We pull many of our dogs from Animal Friends of Barbour County (AFOBC). AFOBCWV.org . We are passionate about the loving care and placement of pets into warm and caring homes. Our foster-based program, run strictly from volunteers, are dedicated to saving the lives of surrendered, abused, neglected, and stray pets. We will assist AFOBC in placing pets in loving homes and assisting the shelter to continue their mission. Since we began in 2015, the number of dogs AFOBC has in their care has reduced significantly.
