About Us
The Animal Welfare Center of Ashtabula County (Ohio) is a community support organization that provides access to affordable services as well as direct assistance in times of crisis. We are not a traditional shelter or rescue and don't have the overhead of operating a facility. We work directly with people and pets where they are in the community. Our programs include a Community Spay Neuter transport program to low-cost clinics outside the county, a monthly vaccination clinic for dogs and cats, and a Safety Net program that assists with pet food and veterinary care in times of crisis. Our motto is "Helping People Help Pets". With your donation, YOU can make a difference - TOGETHER we can help pets!
