About Us
The mission of Black Dog Animal Rescue is to promote, provide and advocate for the needs of companion animals. We are located in Cheyenne, Wyoming and have foster homes here in Cheyenne, as well as Laramie and Casper. Each year, we adopt out between 500-600 cats and dogs. Our adopters live all across the entire Unite States! In addition to our adoption program, we operate a monthly Empty Dish Pet Pantry for families in Laramie County experiencing financial hardship. We also have a partnership with the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution that pairs dogs with inmate handlers for a 9-week period before they get adopted.
