About Us

Black Moon Wild Canid Sanctuary is a grassroots rescue and lifelong refuge for wolfdogs, dingoes, foxes, coyotes, and other urgent-need wild canids. Based in Eden, NC, we provide safe, enriched space for misunderstood beings who would otherwise be killed. Rooted in lived experience with trauma and healing, our mission is built on compassion, ecological care, and radical love for wild kin. Every donation supports containment builds, medical care, and daily pack needs. Wolfdogs are in crisis—90% are euthanized before age 2, and most shelters can’t house them.
