About Us
We rescue, rehabilitate, retrain, and rehome horses, donkeys, mules, ponies, and miniatures throughout Texas. We work through a network of foster homes who love and care for our horses with the goal of getting them adopted into forever homes. As of December 2020, we have taken in over 1,150 equines and placed many of them with loving adopters. We focus on law enforcement cases, which means we help the abused, the neglected, the abandoned, and then unwanted horses and other equine animals.Find Us

Bluebonnet provides a description of how the horse has behaved with other horses as well as when handled by humans. Bluebonnet foster homes evaluate the horse's training level to the best of their abilities.
