About Us
BunnyPeople is a non-profit 501(c)(3) domestic rabbit rescue, adoption and education organization founded in 1992. We educate the public through speaking engagements at businesses, church youth groups, children's organizations, schools and also retirement communities. We also take in unwanted, abused, abandoned and discarded domestic rabbits; get them necessary medical care, spayed/neutered and adopted into a forever and loving home where they will become an integral member of that family. We are a no-kill shelter, so any rabbit not adopted, lives out its life at our shelter with love, caring, compassion, respect and dignity. We have a shelter which houses 24 rabbits.
