About Us
I'm writing to you as the Vice President of Canaan Dog Alliance, a US based nonprofit organization passionately committed to supporting animal welfare locally and in the Middle East. Since our establishment in 2020, we've successfully found homes for 48 dogs and cats, a mission inspired by my own personal rescue story. In 2019, I was fortunate enough to rescue 4 puppies from Petra, Jordan, who have since become cherished members of my family and 2 others. Unfortunately, these four puppies contracted Parvovirus, a heartbreaking but common situation in the Middle East due to limited veterinary resources. Thankfully, these puppies survived, and due to this experience CDA was born. We partner with sister organizations in Jordan, Kuwait, and soon Egypt. We help find animals who were once strays find forever homes in the US. We also have helped rescue locally as well.Find Us
