About Us

Canines 4 Comfort is a 501(c)3 providing trained dogs to support mental health treatment and wellness. Our work is designed to facilitate healing in people and even helps build a better community. We train and place psychiatric service dogs with individuals experiencing PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health diagnoses. Many of these recipients are veterans and children. We train and place facility dogs for schools and first responder teams in our communities. These specially trained dogs work with social services to defuse highly emotional situations and provide a calm and nurturing environment.
