About Us
Carin’ About The Strays is a nonprofit, 501c3. We are based out of Cookeville TN serving Putnam County and surrounding areas. We specialize in pregnant females, orphaned kittens and sick/ injured animals which are treated Bluegrass Veterinary Clinic. Our rescued animals are placed in a foster home, where they can be socialized and house trained, which gives them a better chance to be adopted, improving the success rate and satisfaction for both our feline friends and families. We are a cat rescue primarily but will venture in any needs that we can to provide assistance to a number of arbitrary concerns for other animal facets and lines.
