About Us
Over the past 16 years, Carson Cats has rescued over 16,500 animals from the Los Angeles County Shelter System which has one of the highest euthanasia rates in the country. We are a volunteer only organization and every donation goes to the care of our cats. Carson Cats specializes in rescuing cats that no one else “wants” either because they are too sick or display behavioral problems that categorize them “unadoptable.” We believe that most of these cats have the ability to turn around with love and care and most behavioral issues are circumstantial.
