About Us
Cedartown Animal Rescue, Education & Sterilization (CARES) is an all-volunteer, 501c3 non-profit rescue organization that is licensed with the Ga Dept. of Agriculture. We receive no government funding and rely solely on contributions of caring animal lovers. CARES operates on a No Kill philosophy. Using a foster based system, our main focus is on rescuing shelter animals at risk for euthanasia. To date, CARES has been involved in rescuing dogs out of fighting rings, abuse situations, neglectful environments and hoarding cases.
