About Us
Central Coast Humane Society is not a "brick and mortar" establishment. We are an all volunteer organization working from our homes. We are committed to keeping pets in the community, safe, happy and healthy, free from abuse, abandonment, and neglect. We work with animals outside the local shelter system, providing financial support for treatment of illness and injury, dental care, and spay/neuter. The local shelter is operated by the Sheriff's Office. We have a robust community cat program that TNR's (trap, neuter/spay, vaccinate, return) colony cats. We socialize abandoned kittens so they can be transferred to an adoption facility. We believe all animals are sentient beings and deserve respect and humane treatment.Find Us
