About Us

Central Ohio Pit Savers aka COPS is a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization helping dogs of all breeds. We are 100% funded through donations with an all-volunteer staff including our board members. Our goal is to keep dogs with their families, thereby decreasing the number of dogs entering the Franklin County Dog Shelter & other local shelters. We dedicate ourselves to providing financial assistance for emergency lifesaving veterinary care for dogs in need, regardless of owners’ ability to pay.
