47 animals (22 horses, ponies, donkeys, plus dogs, cats...) get second chances for life & inspire students to develop compassion, patriotism, courage. Sanctuary. Not a rescue. Our model includes care of animals plus providing experiences and education to help develop character traits courage, compassion, cooperation, and more mandated to teach in schools. Why? Adults who abandon or abuse animals are former students so we support parents and teachers to help young people learn to treat animals ethically. Compassion Ranch and Institute a 501c3 nonprofit.
