About Us
Our Cooperative Crisis Cold Weather Shelter | All-Gender + Pets @ The Fairbanks opens when temperatures are forecasted to drop at or below freezing (32 degrees) overnight November through March. Many unsheltered people are unwilling to leave their pets stranded outside in order to access shelter themselves, but most shelters are humans-only, and do not allow pets. Our low barrier shelter has removed this barrier and provides a safe, warm space for people and their pets to come in from the cold.Find Us
