About Us
We rescue special need dogs and cats that are disabled, such as paralyzed, missing limbs, birth defects, and seniors. We work with a few shelters who contact us if a disabled or injured dog or cat will be euthanized. We test new rescues to see if they can do therapy work. If they can, we train them and hopefully they will be able to volunteer their time bring joy to people while they wait to be adopted. All of our rescues stay with us until they find a forever home and if not, they stay with the Dharma Rescue family.Find Us
