Founded in 2018, Dixie Girl Dog Rescue (DGDR) is an established non-profit dedicated to the rescue of cats and dogs of all ages, breeds, and medical status. Most organizations are willing to acquire healthy, young puppies, and while we do the same, we are here for the dogs who need a little extra help, including the mangy, sick, “broken”, broken-hearted, senior, those who have been abandoned, left behind, and thrown away. We are a foster based rescue out of Alabama that specializes in transport adoptions.
