About Us
The Elk Country Animal Shelter is committed to providing a caring shelter and eventual placement of adoptable animals; advocate for companion animals; and provide education on the proper care of animals and the need to control the population of unwanted animals. We spay or neuter all our pets prior to adoption, provide vaccinations, each microchipped, blood work, heartworm preventative. We also offer all those services for community pets. Those in need of food, litter, supplies we try to work with them. We do not euthanize for space, sometimes we must only for the best wellbeing of the dog/cat, too sick to help. We are proud of our presents in such a small town. Our community impact is very large.Find Us
