About Us
We current have 78 rescued horses, ponies, donkeys & mules, as well as 6 retired working military horses from the Caisson Platoon at Arlington National Cemetery... and two Nigerian Dwarf Goats and, of course, feral barn cats. We focus our work on rescue, sanctuary, humane education and advocacy. Equine Advocates Mission Statement: To rescue, protect and prevent the abuse of equines through education, investigation, the dissemination of information to the public and the operation of a horse sanctuary slaughter-bound, abused and neglected horses.
