About Us
Family Promise is the first homeless shelter in the Phoenix area with a pet sanctuary so families experiencing homelessness do not lose their pet. We are committed to keeping pets with their family. Pets are often the support system for children and parents who have lost their home. We keep humans and pets together while we support them to find their next home. Through our unique community-based model, families receive food and shelter within our interfaith hospitality network, and our case managers support parents towards self-sustainability through securing employment, savings training and other support services. We have an onsite pet sanctuary they can visit daily, so families know their pets are safe and healthy.
