About Us
Our Rescue began in 2014 by Founder Kim Baldridge. Kim & her team of a dozen fosters have saved the lives of over 1000 neglected, abused and forgotten small dogs in the NE FL area. In 2024 Kim has turned the rescue over to Dawn Anderson. Dawn has been an active animal advocate her entire life. She moved from Long Island to Jacksonville FL in 1999. A few years later she became aware of the urgent crisis in the southern states for abandoned, stray, feral, & forgotten dogs. She has been trapping lost pets who become so scared that won't come to people, strays, & feral dogs for the past 10 years. She works with many shelters, rescues & individuals, vetting, socializing & finding homes for them. Dawn was honored when Kim approached her to run the rescue. Together they are continuing the mission and hope to grow the rescue.Find Us
