About Us
Prior to becoming a licensed 501©3 Non-profit in 2006, our founders worked with several different cat rescue organizations that focused primarily on adoption. Realizing that adoption alone was not enough and that adoption alone would never put an end to the unwanted cats and kittens dying in the shelters, in 2006 Forgotten Angels Cat Rescue was formed.
The mission would be to rescue, rehabilitate and find appropriate adoptive homes for the cats and kittens in our care, while at the same time to encourage public education and awareness about the importance of spaying/neutering and how to be a responsible pet parent.
Our T-N-R Program is designed to help reduce the feral cat population within our community. Our volunteers work tirelessly to trap and transport dozens of cats to spay/neuter clinics each and every month. Our volunteers also host monthly Trap-Neuter-Return classes to help people within the community understand how they can get involved.
