We are a small town organization ready to make a BIG difference! We are located in the town of Brookville, Indiana. We are NOT the County Pound. Our organization is completely comprised of volunteers. The FCHS has no paid staff and we receive no financial support from the state or local government. Every dollar that you donate to the FCHS goes directly to improving the lives of animals in our community! We are considered a rescue, and not an “intake” shelter. The cats that we house come as strays from around our county, as well as cats from the community that are sick or injured. It is part of our mission to find the right forever home for every animal that we encounter in our facility!Find Us
