Our primary purpose is to provide rescue, rehabilitation, and sanctuary for horses at risk of needless slaughter at kill pens and auctions. To date, we have saved Roman, a 12-year-old Belgian draft horse sent to the kill market in Louisiana, and Artax, a Percheron mix that was used for entertainment in the rodeo circuits of
Oklahoma and the Dakotas before being forfeited to auction and marked for slaughter. We provide
