Every day homeless dogs flood our pound. Some are lost; some have been abused; some merely forgotten. But all of them are hoping for a second chance at life. You can see it in their eyes … their desperate search for recognition. The pitter of a weary tail. They want love. Humans have let them down in the cruelest way & we think they deserve better. That’s why Friends of Fido was formed. We are the voice for thousands of dogs a year at the Mahoning County Dog Pound & Adoption Center. We work to find homes, provide vetting, food & even recreation for those who find themselves in the cages.Find Us
