Friends of Plumas County animals is a public non-profit corporation dedicated to rescuing, sheltering and re-homing animals in a safe environment. We work to reduce the number of unwanted/homeless animals through the spay and neuter programs. Our adoptable animals are offered without adoption fees to approved homes, and we survive on the generous donations of our adopters and supporters. We only take cash/checks- no credit cards.
Friends also supports a " Crisis Food Program" and, as it is available to us, will provide dog and cat food to those who temporarily cannot buy food to feed their pet.
There is no adoption fee for our animals, but a donation to Friends is always much needed and much appreciated.
