About Us
The Friends of the Bowie Animal Shelter Volunteers strive to find new and loving homes for the animals at the shelter. We do this by having the shelter open Sunday mornings, participate in the nationwide Clear the Shelter event each summer, and transport our dogs to Humane Societies in the north that can find homes for them faster than we can. We want all the animals to have the best quality of care while at the shelter so we work hard to keep it clean and supplied with the items we need.Find Us
