The Friends of the Rusk County Animal Shelter is a small group of volunteers that started in 2009. Our goal is to raise $250,000 to build a new animal shelter building to replace the current building. We hold various fundraisers throughout the year to try and reach our goal. The Friends of the Rusk County Animal Shelter has been strictly informed that the FRCAS' purpose is solely for fundraising. We have absolutely no say or input on policy or procedure of the Rusk County Animal Shelter.
