About Us
Our organization is committed to giving injured wildlife and wildlife too soon out of the nest/tree or den a second chance. The all volunteer staff, under the guidance of our director, Colleen and her protege Julia, have a goal to get them well enough to return to the wild where they belong. Colleen has extensive training and knowledge in all things relating to rehabbing many species of animals including but not limited to hawks, eagles, owls, skunks, foxes, opossums, turtles, and all species of birds and waterfowl. Julia is our expert in reptiles and the feathered patients in addition to the other animals. Our Ambassador animals are unable to return to the wild for one reason or another and live their lives with us at Frisky's. We receive no Federal or State funding, so must rely entirely on the generosity of the public who bring us animals from all around Maryland and nearby states.
