About Us
Garfield’s Rescue, Inc., (GRI) is a 501(c)(3) IRS tax exempt feline rescue, foster to adopt nonprofit established March 2020 due to the urgent need to eliminate the suffering of community (homeless) cats on the Northern Neck (NN) of Virginia. GRI has a robust spay/neuter/vaccinate, foster to adopt program to humanely reduce the overpopulation of the NN’s homeless cat population. GRI is one of the larger of the few rescues on the NN that performs all of these services for stray, abandoned (homeless) & owner surrendered cats & kittens.
