About Us
Founded in 1992, GSRA is a group dedicated to rescuing German Shepherds in North Carolina. The Rescue primarily concentrates on rescuing German Shepherds although it does occasionally take other breeds and mixed breeds. Most of the dogs come from local shelters. Some come from owners who have requested our help in finding a new home for their pet. We make a difference in the lives of GSDs by: Offering adoption services Assisting owner surrenders of German Shepherd Dogs Working towards our common goals of saving dogs' lives and reducing pet overpopulation.
