Golden Oldies Cat Rescue re-homes cats 6 and older from Monterey County whose guardians can no longer care for them or who are at risk in shelters. We place these cats, who have no other options of a safe place to go, into temporary foster care. Adopters must fill out an Adoption application (available on our website), and submit to home inspection by one of our staff. If accepted there is a $100 adoption fee. If the adopter cannot keep the pet for any reason, the cat must be returned to us.
