About Us
Golden Years Sanctuary is committed to providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment to senior and hospice cats in need. Those who are surrendered, rehomed, abandoned, or abused. We provide peace, tranquility, and lots of love. We support South Carolina's mission to become a "no kill" state by providing space to super senior and hospice cats in need, who are more difficult to adopt out but are certainly adoptable. Saving them from a euthanasia list. While our mission is targeted to senior cats, we also have 2 rescue hounds, Abigail and Henry. Both coming to us from our local shelter. Now living their best lives. Abigail was picked up as a stray, in heat, and Henry was purposely dumped at an abandon house, with no access to food or water. We consider them the protectors and dog advocates of our cat sanctuary. The property is also registered as a certified wildlife habitat, as we love and respect all animals.
