About Us
Hands Paws & Hearts is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue located in Los Angeles County. We rescue at-risk dogs of all breeds and ages, primarily from high-kill shelters, the desert, or the community in Lancaster/Palmdale and surrounding areas. Our rescue often focuses on pregnant and nursing mothers and fathers, if found. Often these animals are found dumped in shelters or the desert in deplorable conditions including severe heat and cold, and often malnourished. We raise, care for, and socialize the puppies and the adults until they can find homes of their own.
