About Us
Manteca HPO's mission is to stop the cycle of suffering for community cats through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). We trap, neuter/spay, eartip, then return these community cats to their outside spaces where they are monitored and managed by their volunteer caregivers. All cats are scanned for a microchip before surgery, and in a few cases, lucky lost pets have been reunited with their owners. When possible, friendly strays (who have been abandoned or dumped by their previous owners) and socialized kittens will be placed for adoption during our two weeks each month in Manteca PetSmart. The cats and kittens that we place in Manteca PetSmart have all been spayed/neutered and vaccinated and are ready for their furever homes. We do not receive funds or assistance from the city for the work that we do. We are always in need of donations to support the work that we do every day.Find Us
