HavaHeart Rescue (HHR) operating on the belief that every dog deserves the chance to live life as a beloved family member, has rescued and rehabilitated over 1,000 dogs since being established in September 2016. HHR takes pride in saving the underdogs, taking on the most broken and transforming them into happy, healthy companions. Located in the "puppy mill capitol" approximately 90% of the dogs rescued by HHR come from a background of commercial breeding, these dogs have unique needs. HHR's intakes are almost always unsocialized and shut down, they have never felt a loving touch.
