The organization’s mission is:
We rescue and rehabilitate wild birds. We provide veterinary and rehabilitative care for injured, orphaned, and/or displaced wild birds with the goal of returning them back into the wild.
We educate our community about wild birds and provide guidance for a better co-existence through workshops and programs.
Some of our birds have a permanent sanctuary. We are permitted by State and Federal law to keep several birds that would otherwise be euthanized. Some are used as surrogates to help other birds “learn to be birds.” Others get a second chance by becoming an ambassador for that species and help us educate the public when we have programs.
