Situated outside of Austin on 15 acres in the TX hill country, HLCR has been a rescue for 21 years saving thousands of dogs- many with medical issues like mange, heart worm, dental problems, injuries or pregnancy. We have the space & time to heal & rehab the dogs that other shelters don't. We are 100% donation funded, run w/a tiny staff & volunteers.
