How We Support the City of Salem Animal Shelter, Washington County Residents and their Pets OUR BIGGEST PROJECT YET - RAISING FUNDS TO REBUILD THE ANIMAL SHELTER ON GOING SUPPORT Keep the cost of adopting pets affordable for residents by paying part of the adoption fee Offer reduced cost or free spay/neuter assistance vouchers for dogs and cats to Washington County residents Provide food and cat litter for pets who are at the shelter Provide emergency medical care for pets who come into the shelter hurt or in need of veterinarian attention Actively work with reputable rescue groups to place pets who are not placed locally.
