About Us
Homer's Fund was created by Dr. Amy MacKay, a feline veterinarian in Cleveland, Ohio. The organization was named for Homer, a house fire survivor who subsequently became a resident cat. Since 2003, nearly 150 cats have been cared for through Homer's Fund. We currently have 16 sanctuary cats, mostly seniors, all with specialized needs.
