About Us

Hoosier Donkey Rescue & Sanctuary is a nonprofit rescue dedicated to giving vulnerable animals a second chance at a safe and healthy life. While donkeys are our primary focus, we also care for cats, dogs, and other farm animals who arrive through owner surrenders, neglect, abuse, or uncertain circumstances. Located on our Indiana farm, we provide proper nutrition, veterinary care, rehabilitation, and lifelong sanctuary or adoption placement when appropriate. Every animal is treated with patience, dignity, and compassion as they heal and learn to trust again.
