About Us
Hooves of Hope Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation is a Nebraska-based nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing lifelong sanctuary or responsible rehoming for neglected, abused, and at-risk equines, with a primary focus on horses, donkeys, and mules. We also assist other farm animals in crisis when resources allow. Our mission is to restore health, rebuild trust, and give every animal a second chance through proper nutrition, veterinary care, farrier services, training, and compassionate handling. Many of the animals that come to us require extensive rehabilitation due to neglect, medical issues, or lack of proper care. Beyond rescue, we are committed to education and community outreach. We work to promote humane treatment, responsible ownership, and awareness of equine welfare within our local communities.
