The mission of Hounds in Pounds, a 501c3 public charity is to end the killing of thousands of adoptable dogs in the United States daily. We are 100% not for profit and to date have relied solely on donations from the public. We have come up with a multi-faceted approach combining rescue, adoption, spay/neuter outreach and public education. We are a lifeline for thousands of cats and dogs that otherwise wouldn’t stand a chance.
