HPA!’s mission is to save dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia and find them loving homes, while preventing unwanted animals. There are 1.2 million stray animals and two open-intake shelters in Houston. We work BARC and Harris County Animal Shelters, as well as other smaller municipal shelters and pounds, to increase live outcomes. We rely on the support and generous donations of animal lovers to be able to execute our lifesaving mission!
