About Us
The Humane Society of Jefferson County WA operates the only open admittance animal shelter in Jefferson County. In addition to taking in all stray and unwanted dog and cats, domestic animals impounded by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the Port Townsend Police Department and the Washington State Patrol and providing loving care until they are returned to their owner or adopted into a new loving home, HSJC provides much needed services to the community, including low-income family spay/neuter clinics, wellness clinics for vaccinations and microchips, humane euthanasia and cremation service.Find Us
