About Us
The Humane Society of Pasco County Inc., is a non-profit organization founded in 1982. We began with a small group of volunteers and a big dream to create a no-kill shelter for Pasco County’s displaced animals. With a dedication to our vision, we worked tirelessly to clear our property in rural West Pasco County Florida. Our cats and young puppies are housed in a small trailer. It is a bright and friendly environment and most importantly ensures they receive the attention they need. The trailer has undergone many renovations over the year and we are always in the process of trying to improve and expand to meet our ever increasing need for space and resources. We rely on a group of dedicated volunteers to keep our shelter running. Of course, the best job is playing with the animals and watching them leave to their forever homes!
