Founded in 1974, the Humane Society of Skagit Valley is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides a safe haven to shelter and care for the abandoned, abused, or unwanted animals within Skagit County. We are a socially conscious and humane shelter, offering many services to our community such as a low-income Pet Food Bank for those having trouble feeding their pets, low-income Spay & Neuter Services to control pet overpopulation, reuniting pets with their families through our Lost&Found Pet Program, adoption services, free adoption and pet behavioral counseling, community engagement and education, a Barn Buddy Program for our feral cat colony, and more.
