About Us
Humane Society of Union County, NC is a non profit 501c3 animal rescue. We rescue over 400 animals a year, the abandoned, discarded, sick and homeless cats and dogs. We put them into loving foster homes, get them healthy and ready for their forever homes. We rely on the generosity of the public and run on donations. Our mission is to end the unwanted population of animals by spaying and neutering and educating the public on the importance of spay/neuter, vaccinations, heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative.
